How we clean
Rinse it out, don't cover it up
Quick 'dry' cleanings often leave soap in the carpet, which attracts dirt and makes it look worse in a few weeks. We use hot water extraction, the method most carpet makers recommend, and finish with a clean-water rinse.
Strong odors usually live in the pad underneath, so pet treatments target the backing, not just the surface.

Hi, I'm Andre.
I spent eight years cleaning carpets for other companies before starting Fresh Tread in 2018 with one van and a truck-mounted unit I'm still a little too proud of.
My rule is simple: the price I text you is the price you pay. No surprise 'deodorizer' or 'protector' upsells at your door. If a stain won't come out, I'll tell you before I try, not after.
When I'm not working you'll find me at a Bison game or cooking for way too many people.

Carpet cleaning questions, answered
How long does carpet take to dry?
Usually 4 to 6 hours, depending on humidity and airflow. Running fans or the AC speeds it up. You can walk on it in socks right away.
Can you remove pet stains and odors?
Most of them. Our enzyme treatment breaks down urine where it soaks into the backing. Old stains that have bleached the dye can't be reversed, and we'll tell you that up front.
Hot water extraction or dry cleaning: which is better?
For most home carpet, hot water extraction gets more dirt out and leaves less residue. We use low-moisture methods for quick touch-ups and some delicate fabrics.
Do I need to move furniture?
We move sofas, chairs and tables and set them back on pads. Please clear small items, beds' under-storage and anything fragile beforehand.
Is it safe for kids and pets?
Yes, once the carpet is dry. Our cleaning solutions are rinsed out, and we use pet-safe products for odor treatment.
How often should carpets be cleaned?
Most homes every 12 to 18 months. Homes with pets, kids or allergies often do every 6 to 12 months.
