Drywall & patching
Doorknob holes, nail pops, cracks over doorways, and water-stain repairs, taped, mudded, sanded and primed so you can't find them.
I'm Dan, and I handle the small and mid-size jobs bigger contractors don't call back about: drywall patches, sticking doors, new light fixtures, TV mounts, trim, and the rest of the list on your fridge.
If it's on your list and doesn't need a plumber's or electrician's license, I can probably handle it. Not sure? Send me a photo.
Doorknob holes, nail pops, cracks over doorways, and water-stain repairs, taped, mudded, sanded and primed so you can't find them.
Doors that stick, rub or won't latch. New knobs and deadbolts, baseboard and casing, storm doors and weatherstripping.
Swap an old light, ceiling fan, faucet or bath vanity light for the new one sitting in your garage. Existing wiring and plumbing only.
TVs mounted into studs with cables hidden, floating shelves dead level, mirrors, curtain rods and closet systems.
Flat-pack dressers, beds, desks, cribs and outdoor sets built square, anchored to the wall where it matters, boxes hauled off.
Replace rotted deck boards and fence pickets, rebuild a step, re-hang a gate, re-caulk windows and patch siding.
Prices shown are example ranges for this sample site. Larger jobs are quoted by the half day ($340) or full day ($640), materials extra at cost.
I spent twelve years framing and finishing houses for a builder in Knoxville before going out on my own in 2011. These days I'd rather spend a morning making your house work right than a year on somebody else's subdivision.
It's me who shows up, me who does the work, and me who answers the phone. I give you a written price before I start, I put down drop cloths, and I don't leave until the job looks the way it should.
“If I wouldn't do it that way in my own house, I won't do it that way in yours.”

Most quotes go out the same day. Bigger jobs, I'll swing by and look first, free.
Most jobs get scheduled within a week. You'll get a text when I'm on the way.
We walk through it together. You pay when you're happy, by card, check, or Venmo.

No trip charge inside the area below. A little farther out? Ask; for a half day or more I'm usually happy to make the drive.
Yes, $95, which covers the first hour on site. Most people save up two or three small things for the same visit so they get the most out of it.
Either way works. If you've already got the fixture or the paint, great. If not, I'll pick it up and add it to the bill at cost, with the receipt.
I swap fixtures, fans, faucets and switches on existing wiring and plumbing. Anything new, like circuits, panels, moving pipes, goes to a licensed electrician or plumber, and I'm glad to recommend one.
Most jobs get on the calendar within a week, and small urgent fixes like a door that won't lock are often same or next day.
When the job's done and you've had a look. Card, check, cash, Venmo or Zelle. Bigger projects are a 30% deposit for materials, balance on completion.
If something I did isn't right within a year, call me and I'll come back and fix it at no charge.
Fill this out and I'll get back to you with a price, usually the same day. Quickest is a text with a couple of photos.
