Point at it. We'll haul it.

Old couches, a garage you can't park in, a hot tub nobody's used since 2019. Two of us show up with a big truck, do all the lifting and sweep up after. You only pay for the space your stuff takes in the truck.

About us

Hey, we're Tessa and Joel.

We started Cinder Cone in 2020 with one used box truck after helping three friends move in the same summer and realizing how hard it was to get rid of stuff in Bend.

Now we run two trucks. One of us is on every job, and we'd rather spend ten extra minutes driving to the donation center than send a good dresser to the landfill.

We're on time, we're careful with your walls and floors, and we'll tell you if something's worth selling instead.

FAQ

Junk removal questions

Is the price by volume or by item?

By volume, how much of the truck your stuff fills, with labor, loading and dump fees included. Single heavy items have a flat price.

What can't you take?

Paint, oil, chemicals, propane tanks, asbestos and medical waste. The county has drop-off days for household hazardous waste, and we can point you to them.

Do you donate or recycle?

Yes. Usable furniture and household goods go to local donation centers, and we recycle metal, cardboard and electronics whenever we can.

Can you come today?

Often, yes. Most weeks we have same-day or next-day openings. Text a photo early and we'll tell you.

Do I need to be home?

No. If it's outside or in an unlocked garage, we can do it without you and text photos when we're done. Pay by card over the phone.

Do I have to move it to the curb?

No. We carry it out from wherever it is: basement, attic, upstairs bedroom or the back of the yard.
