About us
We're Jamal and Tre.
We're brothers who grew up in Hixson and worked for two big moving companies before starting Two Rivers in 2019. We wanted a crew that shows up on time and treats your grandma's dresser like it's ours.
One of us is on every move. You'll have our cell numbers, not a dispatch line.

Good questions, straight answers
Do you charge hourly or flat?
Local moves are hourly, from arrival until the last item is placed, plus a flat travel fee. We give you a written estimate range first, and many customers get a not-to-exceed price.
Do you supply boxes and blankets?
Blankets, stretch wrap, mattress bags and dollies are included. Boxes and packing paper are available at cost, or you can use your own.
Are there extra charges for stairs?
The first two floors are included. Stairs beyond that, elevators with long waits or carries over 75 feet are priced on your quote, never added on moving day.
How far ahead should I book?
Two to three weeks is usually plenty. The end and start of each month and summer Saturdays fill up first, so book those earlier.
What items won't you move?
Hazardous items like propane, gasoline, paint and cleaning chemicals, plus anything illegal. Keep cash, jewelry, medications and important papers with you.
What if something gets damaged?
We wrap and pad everything to avoid it. Ask us about valuation coverage options when you book, and check your homeowner's or renter's policy too.
