Prices by size

Every groom includes a bath, blow-dry, brush-out, nail trim and ear cleaning. Matted or very thick coats can take longer; we'll tell you at drop-off.

Example pricing for this sample site. Matting fee, if needed, is $10 per 15 minutes, and we'll always call before shaving out mats.

Nervous & senior pets

Extra patience is part of the price

Some pets love the spa. Some shake from the car to the tub. We groom one pet at a time, take breaks when they need one, and stop if a pet is too stressed to continue safely.

Seniors get a padded table, shorter sessions and a slower pace. If your pet has a health condition, tell us; we'll work around it or ask your vet first.

About

Hi, I'm Tasha.

I've been grooming for eleven years, first at a busy chain salon and then at a vet clinic, where I learned how to handle pets who are old, sore or scared.

I opened Bubble & Bristle in 2021 with one rule: one pet at a time. No rows of crates, no rushing. Last year I added the van for folks who'd rather not load a big dog into the car.

My crew at home is a grumpy old dachshund and two cats who tolerate me.

FAQ

Good questions from pet parents

How long does a groom take?

Bath and brush is usually about an hour. Full grooms take 2 to 3 hours depending on size and coat. We text you a photo the moment your pet is ready.

Do you handle anxious or senior pets?

Yes. We groom one pet at a time, take breaks, use quiet dryers and will stop if your pet is too stressed to continue safely.

Do you offer mobile grooming?

Yes. Our van comes to your driveway Monday to Friday for an extra $30. It has its own water and power.

What vaccinations are required?

Proof of a current rabies vaccine for dogs and cats. Just text a photo of the certificate before your first visit.

How often should my dog be groomed?

Most dogs with haircuts do best every 4 to 8 weeks. Short-coated dogs usually need a bath and nail trim every 6 to 12 weeks.

What if my dog is matted?

We'll try to brush out light mats. If the coat is tightly matted, the kindest option is often a short shave-down, and we'll always call you before we do that.
