Privacy

makeasite.co builds websites for local trade pros. This site uses no cookies, no ad trackers and no fingerprinting, and our visitor counts don't identify you.

What we measure

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and doesn't track you across sites. We also count a few anonymous actions on our own server, such as a click on a pricing button, a phone link or a sample site, or a sent form. Each count records only the page, the button, the referring website's name, any campaign tags in the link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), a rough device type (phone, tablet or computer), the country your connection comes from and the page version you saw.

We don't store IP addresses, browser fingerprints or anything that identifies you with these counts. To show the same page version during a visit, your browser keeps a random number in session storage, which is deleted when you close the tab and is never sent to us.

What you send us

If you fill out the free-preview form, we get what you type in it (name, business, email, phone, service area, photos and notes). We use it only to build your preview and to contact you about it. We don't sell it or share it with lead buyers. To have it deleted, email hello@makeasite.co.

Directory listings

Business listings in our directory come from public sources, as explained in how we list. To fix or remove a listing, email us.
